Creative Milestone
Producing a short film called Through the Wire with my besties, and being a finalist for best production design with the Independent Short Awards 2020.
Inspiration
My family history, asian art, my nieces and nephews, 80’s + 90’s hip hop photography, mother nature.
Superpower
The ability to see and hear what is invisible to the eye and inaudible to the ear, and then making you see and hear it.
Self-Care Ritual
Going to the beach at sunset, full moon baths, breathwork.

STORY
Ashley Mui is a multi-medium artist. As a Producer, Ashley has credits working alongside cultural critic and director, Nelson D. George, on documentary films such as Brooklyn Boheme (Netflix); Finding The Funk (vh1); and A Ballerina’s Tale (IFC). She currently leads Content Development and Creative Direction for The Gates Preserve Media.
