I wrote a book about a black trans boy and it was gifted it to every public school in the Republican state of Kansas. It felt great that kids could read about my family and imagine themselves beyond a box.
Superpower
I can starfish. I stretch out and touch all of life, beyond my gender, age, and position in life. And if I experience trauma and a limb is severed, I grow a new one.
