OneFifty and Banijay Americas are partnering for a new program to incubate docuseries projects from creators with “authentic visions and perspectives” and “strong cultural aesthetics,” the two studios have announced exclusively to The Hollywood Reporter.

South Pitch + Southern Producers Lab

This 150 partnership connects us to artists with rich, innovative stories targeting the culture of The South.
South Pitch: Artists across the American South have three minutes to pitch their next project by presenting their concepts or works-in-progress to panels of judges.
Southern Producers Lab is designed to bring together 10 artists from around the South for an intensive series of workshops, panels and creative mentoring sessions.

CAAM is partnering with Warner Bros. Discovery to offer the Warner Bros. Discovery Access Early Career Bootcamp . This is an opportunity for Asian Americans interested in the entertainment industry to learn about the wide range of career possibilities. The Bootcamp seeks to serve the untapped potential of early career talent who have aspirations to work in the entertainment industry but little access to resources and opportunity.

BLACKHOUSE

The Blackhouse Multicultural Producers Fellowship Program.
Provides mentorship, industry access, and knowledge to increase representation of diverse producers and production companies. The fellowship is a 1-year program. We aim to do this across all platforms – including television, film, and digital. We nurture content across genres including: scripted, unscripted and nonfiction series, narrative and documentary features films, podcasts, and virtual reality.

Pa’lante! Promise
The Pa’lante! Promise is a commitment to elevate and support through marketing, the OneFifty selected series, films, shorts, and podcasts that are authentic, have strong cultural aesthetic, speak to Latinxs’ ambicultural identity, and feature Latinos in front of and behind the scenes.

IllumiNative is a Native woman led racial and social justice organization dedicated to building power for Native peoples by amplifying Native voices, stories, and issues. Our Native Artists and Storytellers Program invests in and trains a wide-range of Native artists and creatives to catalyze conversations, organizing, and action essential to shifting culture to advance racial and social justice for Native peoples. The Program helps ensure that Native artists and creatives have access to the resources and platforms they need.

MoCADA uses the visual arts as a point of departure for exploring new artistic production across a variety of disciplines, inciting dialogue on pressing social and political issues.

Through live shows, a podcast, and workshops, The Moth promotes the art and craft of storytelling, while honoring the diversity and commonality of human experience.

Open Call is The Shed's large-scale commissioning program for early-career NYC-based artists from across disciplines who have never been commissioned by a major arts organization. Chosen by competitive panel review, selected artists receive a commissioning fee, robust production support, and resources to further nurture their practices and expand their audiences.

This robust program provides invaluable hands-on filmmaking experience from pre-production through premiere. Participants are paired with mentors at the top of their respective fields, and receive personalized guidance to help move their projects and careers forward. Each year, 30 filmmakers from diverse backgrounds are given the opportunity to hone skills, form creative partnerships, create short films and gain industry access needed to succeed as working artists.

This partnership supports our exploration into scripted anthology podcast series, and enables us to provide a distinct universe for our emerging creators to craft engaging stories within, while aligning with our respective communities and serving the broader audience’s thirst for this type of storytelling.

Pa’lante is part of HBO Max’s Our Stories to Tell banner, which puts audience first, celebrates diversity and the elevation of ideas. The newly launched initiative will help amplify multicultural stories and talent by highlighting underserved talent. Part of this promise includes a commitment to support Latinx creatives through a partnership with OneFifty, WarnerMedia’s initiative to curate, develop and invest in bold, fresh and compelling storytelling.
