SEE WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
HOW WE DO IT
Like a VC firm, OneFifty makes smart, small investments in original projects with the goal of surfacing great content within our businesses and across the industry.
We curate projects by leveraging our connections to the industry and our broader arts networks. We customize our development approach for each project, targeting further development at one of our operating divisions.
As an early investor in original ideas, we are uniquely positioned to push the conventions of storytelling and encourage creative risk-taking.
WHAT'S IN A NAME
The name OneFifty reminds us that small investments can lead to big things.
The young Warner brothers Jack, Sam, Albert and Harry bought one of the earliest film projectors, a Kinetoscope, not long after the turn of the 20th Century. Our name comes from the $150 they needed to finance the purchase (which they did by consigning a beloved horse). It was a small but meaningful investment that spawned the Warners’ interest in moving pictures and, years later, the founding of what became–and remains–the world’s leading film and television studio, Warner Bros., which is now a part of Warner Media.
We are Warner Media's in-house content incubator.
We seek to disrupt the way content is developed in our industry and help bring the best, most compelling untold stories to audiences.
We are a part of Warner Media Group.
As a global leader in media and entertainment with businesses in television networks and film and TV entertainment, we use our industry-leading operating scale and brands to create, package and deliver high-quality content worldwide on a multi-platform basis.
